This is big news for the industry, given the regulation allows maximum 23 dBm transmit power. What does this mean in real terms? An impressive over 5 km line of sight range with 1 Mbps bandwidth. With mesh topology this provides superior wireless network coverage leading to best SLA seen in smart metering.
